Morty: The Jewelry Thief

Some cats steal food. Morty has more expensive taste.

Her owner came to me with a story about disappearing necklaces and a tiara clip. The culprit? A little cat who hides her favourite accessories in her bed.

For her custom portrait, I kept the wonderfully awkward pose from her photo: one back leg raised, big ears, and her little outfit. Then I added a golden tiara and a pearl necklace. If she was going to steal the jewelry, she might as well wear it.

A wink and pink spiral cheeks finished the look. Pretty, pleased with herself, and showing absolutely no remorse.

Her owner loved it, especially the tiara and necklace. Apparently, I’d captured Morty perfectly.

Hide your jewelry. She has a portrait to match her reputation now.

Morty stole a few hearts on TikTok, too, with over 1,600 views and 144 likes.
